A house does not need to be vacant to need staging when it comes time to sell . . .

Sometimes it takes an out-of-the box presentation to be the best in the neighborhood.

It's all about the Web pictures that can lure in showings from the Internet . . ,

Presentation that can aide the Realtor to create multiple showings.

Creating warmth can often be simple . . .  work with the furnishings the home owner has . . .

Then add the accessories that they need to make the look . . . let the showings begin!

Karen ~ don't you love it when you're able to work with the seller's furnishings and just add all your special touches?  Such a great outcome!  This home looks warm and inviting and I'm sure potential buyers will fall in love with it.  I like those "triplets" on the kitchen dining table!

I so agree!  A home doesn't have to have all new furniture to look fantastic but the right things in the right areas will make it spectacular!

Very nice staging, Karen.  The house has a lot of great features and the staging is the icing on the cake!

Hey Maureen -- You know I am a fan of re-design.  Let's start a new slogan . . . You know, "GOT MILK" ???? Open for ideas.

Hi Susan! thx, for stopping by!  I have found that the furniture is (in most cases) just a foundation.  If you are a good stager, you have the perk and presentation, regardless.  Seems I see it most every day! It's the home owner's living there that my passion rides with.

Well, I haven't had cake in years, let alone any icing . . . you know, one of those
"monitorer what you eat folks"

BUT, Diana, I think you wrapped it up!  Thx for the support! Nice to know I give icing; even if I do not personally indulge!

Karen ~ Looks great! I know we've talked about pictures on the internet before and how important they are, but I'm even more aware now as I am surfing looking for something we might like.  I am really horrified by the pictures that are being shown of some of these homes (when there even are pictures).  Yours look so great, they make you want to see the "real" thing!

Hmm, a new slogan... off the top of my head, how about "Got Class?  Yes, you do!  Let Karen Dembsky from Atlanta Home Staging redesign it for you, too!"

I'll keep thinking...

(Is it just my eyes or is the reply box font/size incredibly difficult to see?)

Great job!  I love it when your able to use existing furnishings and complete a look. Some customers have good taste but lack the ability to put a room together. That's what makes home staging and redesign a great investment for home owners.

Thanks, Jess

Hi Kathy --Yes, things look bleak on the Internet photo's -- way too often in my opinion!  Every singe home could certainly benefit from having a little stager satisfaction!

Susan-- too funny -- yes get stager satisfaction using your classy furniture; my classy stuff!

Hey there Jess-- thx for the kind words.  I LOVE re-design when I can incorporate my accessories as well!

I would LOVE to do more redesign !.. I did one a couple of weeks ago and I made an unforgiveable mistake and (wait for it...)  forgot to take pix !.. I am really sick about it because it turned out so well..  The hardest part was convincing the homeowners that the GIGANTIC TV needed to be moved out of the living room!.. It can be tough to get people who are living in their homes while they are for sale, to make changes .. It took three days of phone calls between me, the REA and the homeowner to "get it" that the house really needed to have some serious changes made, or why bother hiring me ?

I used their furnishings and got them to purchase a new dining set that would work in their new place. They are renting a few things ( some art and bedding, etc,) from me on a monthly basis. And the bottoem line is that they like the changes !..

In an unexpected way, I found this job more fulfilling than staging a vacant home..

Hi Karen. Your pictures are beautiful.  All the staging I have done are all using the clients own furnishings and accessories, with some of mine incorporated. The clients always love the outcome. Often they will say " I never thought of using that piece there." an so on.
