Many Sumner County residents are shocked when they receive the higher tax appraisals on their homes.  Why is this? How can this be when property values are DECREASING?

They say that it's not about higher taxes - but I say let's just wait and see.  It seems that higher tax appraisals must ultimately result in  higher property taxes.  If anything, values should be coming down!!

I wonder why the area homeowners aren't doing more to resist these changes?  Can't they see what's going on?

Just my opinion!!  But when I see Hendersonville Homes for Sale and Gallatin Homes for sale keep decreasing in value...it just makes me angry to know that our taxes will be going up.

Please contact me with any questions you have.  Not that I have many answers for this - but I would like to talk with you!
