This year's 58th annual Sumner County tour of homes will help preserve the Cragfont Mansion in Castalian Springs.  The mansion is used for tours, special events...and weddings.  It was once the home of James Winchester, the man who founded Memphis...but settled here before the State of Tennessee was organized.

The 2-story home took 4 years to construct...and was built of Tennessee limestone that was quarried on the site.  It was the only mansion on the frontier at the time of construction.  It was named Cragfont because it stood on a rocky bluff with a natural spring at the base of the hill.

Middle Tennessee is rich in history...and a great place to call home!

Please email me and let me know the details if possible. Thank you.
