I can't believe it. I had to check the numbers again. It didn't seem possible to have that many points. I never thought I'd reach that many. And you know what, I wouldn't have reached this point without everyone here on Active Rain. Through all the support, I have learned what I am going through is normal. From all the advice, I have found answers to questions that I couldn't get from anyone here.
I have received so much kindness and generosity. So many people have offered their help. It's unbelievable. It's amazing. It's the Active Rain Family. So, I just wanted to take a minute or more to thank some special people that may not even know how special they are!
Christina Lackey was so encouraging and even offered to listen to my whining when I was having a bad day! Jeff Hill was also very encouraging and offered so much helpful advice. Neal Bloom is the funniest and slimiest agent I know. He always is offering encouragement and words of wisdom. He's made me laugh when I was down and help me learn along the way. Jeff Belonger was one of the first people to welcome me here. I don't always understand his mortgage posts, but I try. The more I don't understand, the more stubborn I become to get it. He even offered me some advice. It was great advice especially coming from a mortgage man! JaneAnne Narrin not only offered advice, she also subscribed to my blog and added me to her associates. On top of that, she gave me a gold star. I felt so special. Sarah Cooper was another very welcoming person. She also offered her advice and her shoulder. I always look for her posts. I enjoy her blogs so much. Bob Volanti was the first person to add me to their associates. He always posts such encouraging and informational comments. I just wanted to let him know, all those pictures look great. I think each one shows a different side of him. Kristal Kraft and I enjoyed a conversation in comments. She is a remarkable person. She has it all down. The perfect blend of humor, local content, and major issues. However looking in her trunk, I realized I wasn't the only one with lots of junk in my trunk (LOL). Because of Jeff Turner, I bought that Kodak V705. At first I thought I was going to throw it out the window. But with a little help, I have learned to use the camera and love it. And last but not least, The Lovely Wife. She can make you laugh no matter how you are feeling. Her posts are inspirational and humorous. She dances in the rain and play with (sometimes eats) flat little men at parties. I might get the opportunity to meet this crazy lady at the Florida Active Rain Celebration.
I know there are many many more people that offered their encouragement, wisdom, and support. If I wrote everyone down, this post would be so long no one would read it. To all those I missed, thank you so much. You all mean so much to me. I look forward to getting to know you all more and meet all the newbies. I also need to send a big thank you to all the Active Rainmakers and their flat counterparts!
