You'll appreciate this! Years ago (I mean like 15) I almost bought a lot on Lake Oconee, east of Atlanta. It was on deep water, and I think the seawall may have been in...can't remember. Sat on a point on the lake. It was $45,000. Then I thought, why would I buy property on a lake when I don't swim and don't own a boat! Same lot......LOT WITH NO HOME would sell for around $350,000!!

Hindsight is sometimes better than foresight my Mom always says!

Amazing how hind sight was not with me years ago. I used to look at lake property in the middle 80's and ask how it could be worth 50K? I remember writing an offer in 1986 for a lake home for 110k and sweating because it was a lot. What it is worth now is incredible
