We all know that real estate can be a 24 hour, seven day a week business. With that in mind, I am interesting in hearing others ideas and suggestions for relaxation.  My personal favorites - a cruise when I have the time to truely get away. The cell phone doesn't work and email gets pricey on board ship so I'm forced to lay by the pool and enjoy the breeze. If time doesn't allow, I like a good book and a warm bath. In Washington, a group of us used to sneak out for high tea.

What are do others do?

Strap on a backpack and head into the back country at the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park; 900 miles of hiking trails.

No cell phones & computers allowed on our 2-4 day treks.

Nothing like being around a campfire up in the mountains watching the sun come up with the birds singing.

I haven't had much time to relax lately, but I find a quick "tickle fest" with my 2 year old, a few minutes with a book, a few minutes on Active Rain, or a hot shower tend to relax me a bit.  I take what I can get, when I can get it.  It's important to have a little bit of relaxation every day - not just on our days off or vacation.

A quick 3 or 4 day cruise is one of my favorites, I always come back rejuvenated after a few days at sea. For a quick fix.....poker, I've always found it very cathartic as all my attention is focused on my play and every thing else is a distant for a few hours.

Sorry.........I meant distant second for a few hours. It seems that the ability to edit our replies is no longer available.

"TOLW"

Take my gun to the practice range and shoot at large paper men!

For whater reason I find this relaxing.

I also like to shoot at critters in the orange groves.

Got me a rattle snake one time...

Bam...Snake skin for a nice southern snake skin belt.

Don't worry I have permission to be hunting in the Groves.

I just have to let the Grove Bosses know where I am.
