Broadview Heights Important Dates to Remember!

Mark your calendars for Sat. May 9th from 9:00a.m. to noon and join your neighbors in Broadview Heights Ohio with the Chippewa Creek Streamside Clean Up! Residents of all ages are invited to join the Engineering Department along with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District for this environmental effort.

Those interested should meet at the pavilion at "The Fields" (8938 Broadview Rd.) and dress accordingly with long sleeves, pants, boots or work shoes and gloves. Trash bas will be provided and children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult. Residents are encouraged to clean up the streams in the neighborhoods too.

Tuesday, May 19th is Senior Citizen's Day. This is a day full of fun and FREE activities beginning at 9:00a.m. There will be coffee and donuts, Wii bowling, chair exercise, games, speaker, lunch and entertainment by the RSVP Players. For more information call 440-526-4685

Fall 2009/Spring 2010 travel soccer tryouts for returning and new players will take place May 11-13, 2009. You may pre-register at the rec center by May 9 ($20.00 fee applied to player fee). For specific dates and times visit the Broadview rec center's website.
