It's supercool.

It has every home, not just homes that are for sale. It's GPS-enabled, so it follows you around the neighborhood as you drive or walk. And the map has pan and zoom functionality which is slick.

It's free. Check it out.

Here's the official Zillow video on it.

And with all due respect to my friends at Zillow, here's the much more entertaining video of my 4 year old playing with the app:

Cool app and your daughter is adorable doing her happy dance... but I heart my Blackberry.

I just downloaded this app for FREE to my 3G iPhone... This application is by far the most advanced real estate technology this world has ever seen... Period. .. and that's coming from young 28 year old who literally grew up with advanced technology. If you don't own an Applie iPhone, and were drawn to the functionality of the Blackberry... you're missing the boat. BUYERS own iPhones... Thanks, Zillow... as a REALTOR I thank you for the opportunity to have this information available to our clients.

I still love my Blackberry...Do you think apps will be made for it or do you think we'll all be forced to switch if we want that functionality? I for one loathe a touch screen and would rather have a trackball...(Yes, I test drove a touch screen phone, for those that are wondering.)

Holy smokes.... I wish the iPhone worked to open our lockboxes.  Your video says so much.

iPhones are so easy a 4 year old can use them

Technology is easy... and here to stay

Zillow is pretty danged state of the art (I HATE admitting that)

Spencer Rascoff shoud have had 10 kids - he owes it to the world.

Spencer, Of course this is seriously cool for users. But this is an amazing application for our listing partners as well. Yesterday their listings were exposed to our audience that is almost 9 million strong. Today, they are now reaching a mobile audience as well, which has the potential to reach millions more. Imagine getting a call from a buyer who might be standing in the front yard of the listing, iPhone in hand, and has that much information already about the home. I'd say that is a very qualified call! If your listings aren't on Zillow already, they should be, it is free to do. Let me or Spencer know if you need help with this - or visit www.zillowpros.com. -- and very cute video of Sophia! Maybe she could help out at a few upcoming trade shows!

Spencer, you need to have your daughters presentation as the main vid man!  Very cool looking application that will be awesome for iPhone users to try out.  For me, I am off to give it a download and play with it myself!

All these great applications for an Iphone and yet Supra cant figure out they need to get past infrared technology for an electronic lockbox!

Idaho is a non disclosure state, so Zillow doesn't work well in our area (thank goodness) since buyers and sellers need to contact Realtors for data!

New technology always amazes us. Great app.I'm sure zillow will be very pleased with a huge jump in web presence! The more info consumers have before contacting a Realtor the better.Saves time and money. Thanks for the post

Your daughter is absolutely adorable!!  She floored me with her Zillow dance!

I really like the Zillow app but they definitely need to put together something for Blackberry/non-Iphone users.

Now that I have replaced my iPhone that had mysteriously disappeared from my car, I look forward to downloading the app and checking it out.

I just created an iPhone app for my brokerage and am trying it out.  I personally think you need to use your daughter's video in promos.

My kids (7 and 8) work the iPhone like a pro...although we don't have the Zillow iPhone dance going on :)

I was impressed with just how intuitive the whole thing was for your 4 year old daughter. cool application that is pushing me ever closer to an iphone purchase though I have the same big gripe as everybody else---an iphone can't open lockboxes and I don't want to carry around an ekey and worring about synching it.

Zillow and iPhone both should contribute to your little ones college fund for having given the coolest endorsment ever!

So very KEWL ....And the best news ever, is that Verizon (e-host for my Blackberry) will soon (Christmas 09) be a carrier for iphone. Can't wait to take the iphone plunge. The only thing holding me back was AT&T; just did not want them for my carrier. What a cutie!! Lorraine C- Weichert Realtors, Northeast Group

Spencer...adorable daughter!  I downloaded it and it's a cool app..(although I question its zestimates).  I guess that's why it's only a tool and won't replace the knowledge of the local Realtor...whew!  Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all SO much for your incredibly kind comments. I read them to Sophia tonight and she loved hearing that people liked her "movie".

What's really cool is that she actually truly does love the app, which is a lot of fun. Frequent readers of my blog and me on twitter know that Sophia and I go to open houses together most Sundays, for fun. She loves real estate, and she loves playing with my iphone so this app is the perfect combination. (BTW, iphones and itouches are so cool for kids -- I've downloaded some terrific kids games and kids books onto my iphone. Perhaps a subject fo ra future post...)

Anyway, thank you again for your comments.

Hey all-  In case you haven't heard yet, Zillow recently released an updated version of the Zillow iPhone app which now allows you to do things like: Filter search results by beds, baths, price, and status; Save searches; and Save favorite homes.

More info on it here: http://www.zillow.com/blog/new-features-to-zillow-iphone-app/2009/06/17/

Got the new Zillow App and it's cool... We just launched a new App with the App Store that should be available by the end of this week. It's called AgentWorx. It is totally designed from the ground up to be a really easy yet powerful contact management and agent productivity tool.

You can read more about it at the following URL www.appspice.com or go to my blog entry on ActiveRain at the following URL http://activerain.com/blogs/larssonc

Good selling!
