FIND YOUR TWIBE OR JUST START YOUR OWN TWIBE!
So I got involved in Twitter-mania a while back and must admit publicly that I wasn't a faithful user or follower of the site until about two months ago when I started seeing how "tweeting" could be a promotional tool. Instead of being one of those annoying people who tells you every move they make such as what they are eating, when they are going to the bathroom and far worse...I began to see how this tweet little set up could benefit my business.
So I started to actually Twitter and Tweet and through the blog posts at Active Rain learned about the various Twitter add-ons that can really trick out your tweeting experience. One of my faves is Tweetdeck...the minute I completed my comment on the blog where I read about how to use it and why it is useful...I signed up for it. I am digging this application! It is really cool because it keeps you in the loop about what those you follow are tweeting about and helps you track your tweets, your responses and also posts your tweets to Facebook.
I am all about multi-tasking, so this little jewel really grabbed my interest. Well, low and behold if I didn't get a tweet tonight about joining a Twibe! Of course the cutesy name grabbed my ADD attention and I clicked right on over to check out what this twibal activity was all about. How cool is this...you can join a Twibe and they have something for everyone and I do mean everyone! But the really nifty thing is that you can start your own Twibe! SWEET TWEETS Batman!
I played around on Twibes and figured it out, then I joined a couple of real estate twibes and started checking out "geographic" twibes. So the old noodle started thinking...if consumers want information about areas where they are looking for property, then why not have a geographic twibe about my area? I looked and what did I find? No one had a Texas Hill Country Twibe! Well I have always wanted to have my own Twibe...tee hee hee...so I am now the Chief of my own geographic Twitter Twibe! I am looking forward to getting into this and expanding the possibilities of what I can do with Twibes on Twitter...any thoughts or experiences out there that anyone can share about their Twibal tendancies?
