How to find a bargain foreclosure?

One of the fastest method to find them is to go to:
The bank websites themselves.
Banks often list their foreclosed properties for sale online. For example at Bank of America about 800 residential listings are posted, including homes for Maryland DC and Virginia
Prices, photos, and home descriptions are listed along with contact information. Of course, if you have the time, you can go from bank to bank's websites looking for just the right property. .sometimes the best approach would be to connect with a Realtor that understands your criteria.
Caveat. . if you have full intention just to check it out and feel the process,don't involve a Realtor, they have to work for a living and they do not appreciate someone that wastes their time.
Be honest with your Realtor and they will be appreciative to you and provide you with all the tools you need while you convinced yourself that you are ready to go
