The Solomons Maritime Festival comes alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of Southern Maryland traditions. Taste traditional foods, learn how to pick crabs and shuck oysters like the pros, enjoy local gospel and old time music, hear world class water fowl calling, see Chesapeake Bay retriever trials in action, watch model boats skim the waters of the boat basin, talk with traditional crafts people as they demonstrate their skills.
