Turkey Talk

By
Real Estate Agent with USA Realty INC.

My first year of getting to go turkey hunting was quite a lot like work. My husband and I woke up at 5 am and we were off and running to go set up and turkey hunt. After setting up our blind getting our chairs situated we sat down and started listening. As the sun started to really shine we heard the birds on the ground and moving, with the most excitement we heard gobblers on both sides of us, I would SURELY get a Gobbler today!! Well we got really close and saw 3 of the most beautiful Gobblers you ever saw in full Strut, well what I didn't know was while we are calling to the gobblers to come to us the hens are also on the ground and moving hunting the Gobblers too but for themselves. After 3 different hens heard our call and our gobbler that we were trying to get to come to us, I was ALL DONE. Those hens would cluck cluck cluck and come right to our spot and then go STEAL our Gobbler!!!! It was more cut throat than Real Estate but I guess the moral of the story is you can call all you want but if you sit around and wait for it to come to you the HENS will get it iFor Sure!! Oh well maybe I will out smart them next year.

What a great analogy you used there between Turkey hunting and real estate. I really got a kick out of it.
