Help "Stamp out hunger" in your community. National Association of letter carriers food drive.

Did you know that 35 million Americans are hungry or living on the brink of hunger? See the faces and hear the words of the real people affected by hunger in the U.S., and learn how Feeding America^TM food banks are helping.

For the 14th year, Campbell's Soup Company and the United States Postal Service are partnering to sponsor Stamp Out Hunger, the nation's largest single-day food drive. The event, created by the National Association of Letter Carriers in conjunction with America's Second Harvest, delivered over 70 million pounds of food in 2007.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

On May 9th place bags with nonperishable items next to your mail box.
Your letter carrier will pick them up and bring them to local food banks.

It's that simple! You can make a difference that easily in your community. All communities will be participating, and I know that where I live in Somersworth New Hampshire, the community will be instrumental in it's success. I hope you and your community will also!
