FHA spot approval for condo projects

Right now I am working on 3 spot appraisals. One of them is are complete, the other two are in the beginning stages.

What been your experience in FHA spot approvals for condo projects? Any pitfalls I should be aware of?

I am curious if this is an option for condos in my resort area...Freddie/Fannie are nightmares for us right now. 2 deals lost this week due to condo developments being denied!
