Volunteers who would like to teach English as a second language can attend tutor training sessions on May 9 and May 16 at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center,
6650 University Avenue, just a block west of La Mesa.

Training sessions last from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and take place in Building A.

Classes are hosted by the Laubach Literacy Council of San Diego and LEARN, the San Diego County Library Adult Literacy Program. Once training is complete, you can teach at libraries in Casa de Oro, El Cajon, or Lakeside.
