Point 2 Agent Websites

Real Estate Agent with Solutions Real Estate

I have always been a big fan of Point 2 Agent and their websites.  While I personally believe their sites are starting to look a bit old and dated, I also believe they have a product that every agent should utilize in their business.

Get Your Free Point 2 Agent Website Here

The reasons I think their product is awesome are many.  For example, they offer a very professional looking virtual slide show tour for free for every listing.  They offer branded and unbranded so now you can include them with every listing.

They also offer listing syndication.  Never heard of this???  They will send your listing out, with your contact information, to every major site where consumers search for home.  This will give you and your listings a massive exposure boost.

They have handshake agreements that allow you to feature listings on your site as well as allow others to feature your listings.  Think about it.  If you want to market a certain area, you will have listings just for that area on your site.  Plus, when your listing show on other sites, your exposure is increased dramatically.

Their on line training and message boards are invaluable.

So, their sites are looking old, but you will have a low cost way to get massive exposure and learn more about websites and how to make them do what you want.  Here is a Link to a site I built with very little effort to give you an idea of what can be done - www.eValVistaLakes.com

I think the website looks nice - better than the one I pay $50 a month for.  Do they have any lead capture programs?

Take a look at mine and tell me what you think www.sjrealestateonline.com

Thanks, Bridget

David, I thought Point 2 dumped their free web sites? Thanks for the heads up. We had a free one that went away. Will have to check this out. And I totally agree about their sites beginning to look dated. In fact, I am itching to make some major changes to ours.

I'm pretty sure that the free websites are on a 30 day trial basis, right? We have a Professional one, but I'm getting rather bored with it.

Thanks David, I used to have a Point 2 site and got distracted with other sites, blogs, etc. It is nice to be reminded they are out there. Looks like I will have to start back up! They do a great job with posting to the best places like Craigs list, etc.  Have a great day!

They used to offer them totally free.  They no longer do.  I think the minimum is $9.95 per month

David, I don't think they do free any longer.  I think the cheapest they offer now is about $9.95 per month, but still well worth it.

Sylvie...  First three months are still free.  They recently recuced from their 6 month free program to 3 months...   Again, you are right though, well worth it, for so many reasons.

By the way, I pay for two premium sites ate $119.95 per month.

In reality I only need one premium and one professional.

I do pay for their 9.95 site, but I already have a couple of other sites too, plus also have AR, Localism, Outside Blogs, so I think that's enough for me, for now. :)

Ok, I know this isn't a support group, but....

I just signed up for a Point2 website, and find it very frustrating compared to my last vendor. Putting the learning curve aside for a moment, I would like to see if anyone has an answer to a problem I'm having with it.

It's regarding the web page names. Once I've created the page, the actual html name is given some obscure name...For example, I create a page and name it "Listings". When I go to my web site and click the button, it brings up something obscure like www.mysite.com/listings/page_759255.html.

What I need to do is have the web page names meaningful since I put them on my signs, and also direct customers to certain webpages by name...For example, if a customer asks me where can they search listings, I can say....www.mysite.com/listings.

Is this possible with Point2, or should I be focusing my efforts on another vendor?
