Hey we both did Eye Candy about Texas! Imagine that :-)
Hi Gary, This is an awesome new quarters for the Cowboys ( America's Favorite Team ). Good Luck in the contest. I had inquired about the group but was never invited :-(
Hi Gary-Great shots and I love this line-(So God can watch his favorite team play) Nothing bias about you my friend. <BIG SMILE> Also the best EYE candy isn't in this pic. <SMILE> Best of luck in the contest my friend.
Breaking News this afternoon with the Cowboys rookie mini training camp. The indoor Practice Bubble at Irving's Valley Ranch collapsed about 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon from a 65 mph wind gust and rain and several players or coaches were carted off by paramedics. They report 10 confirmed injuries and two walk ins to hospitals. One critical, three to four serious. There were also news reporter people there injured. They said on the news no life threatening injuries so that is good.
Gary,
I heard about the practice field collapsing after a tornado/high winds came thru. They are saying that 4 of the cowboy staff were injured. Sad story.
HI Gary, an incredible structure for sure! My prayers and good wishes for those injured in the near tornado today are well and back to the stadium soon.
Gary, I'm so sorry to hear the news, I haven't had the radio on at home or in the car today. Blessings to everyone! I love to see buildings going up and that's certainly an amazing one that you captured in your shots...They're gorgeous!
That is one huge structure! I bet you could put every person from Maui in there and have room to spare.
Gosh, Gary, I can't believe the coincidence of posting these photos and then the breaking news story... prayers for safety, recovery and everything in its place soon, for the cowboy community. I can't imagine being in that big of a crowd...I imagine it must be so exciting...do you get to see the games much?
Gary,
Nice facility. Now they just have to start winning more ballgames. Are the Cowboys going to treat the Redskins to special hospitality when they first visit this new stadium?
WoW! That place looks amazing! I bet you can't wait to go to the first game, there!
Mara, I used to go to preseason NFL games at the old Texas Stadium, but will have to get on board with the new place. It is a great design where the bigness doesn't feel so big inside, but rather it feels very comfortable. State of the art for 2009 with all the suites, and the kitchens, and video and the audio. I think the public will really like this new venue. You'll be hearing a lot about it on TV.
Esko, I'm sure the Cowboys fans will treat the Redskins like they always do as one of their rivals.
Only in Texas does the stadium need to have a whole in the roof so God can watch down and see his favorite team play, Gary. ;-P
WooHoo! That baby will hold a lot of fans for sure!
Hi Gary! I heard the news earlier about the collapse and sending prayers for the injured for a quick recovery. Sounds like you almost had tornado winds there today. It certainly looks like a awesome stadium, looks huge but I have been in some of those large stadiums and they really are a comfortable place. Be sure to keep us updated on this terrible tragedy. You really snapped some fantastic photos.
Gary - I had stopped by your post yesterday but didn't get a chance to comment. I heard the news about the collapse at the stadium in Irving and couldn't believe how devastating the winds were and the damage that was done. My thoughts and prayers are with all those that were injured.
The new stadium looks spectacular. Can't wait for football season to start! :-)
Gary - This looks like a great place to have an active rain convention! Will you be the organizer?
