I agree -- putting people first always pays off in the long run -- our business is primarily referral and we have continued to be swamped in slow markets!  Don't know how I've already missed 2 days of summer fun -- good thing I'm heading to Middle TN (Shelbyville) in June to catch up!

Hi Michael,

I always put my clients best interests before my wallet. I have shown some clients more homes after they thought they liked one of the first ones they saw. The outcome was a house they loved and  smaller commissions for me. I'm OK with that!

While making a lot of money is great...that's not my primary goal...my clients' satisfaction is.

I was at a home inspection Saturday for a buyer client, and when the inspector said to the buyer "You have a great agent" she replied "You don't have to tell me that, I already know how wonderful she is" I got teary eyed.  We don't hear it often enough and it really was what I needed to hear...
