Lately, I have been on a gardening kick. It happens to me every year during the early spring. We have the most beautiful spring days here in Vancouver Washington. As the fruit trees start blooming I start to ITCH. (No, its not allergies!) First a little weeding. Then a little mowing. Then I start looking for a project. Last week I built two raised vegetable gardens. They aren't planted yet as I need to build covers to keep the deer out. Read here for a comic tale of my battle with the local deer population.
I have narrowed my next project down to two possibilities: A tumbling composter or an earthworm high-rise. In my search for ideas I ran across a great web site called instructables.com. I am thinking about one of these two: Tumbling Composter or Earthworm High-rise.
Anybody have any experience with either of these projects or some plans that they would like to share?
