Well, that's a different kind of rush hour traffice, isn't it, Sylvie?
Heather, I sat there for hours, watching the ducks and the geese and the swans.... they all seem to follow the leader and they were everywhere.
I'm just hoping for more sunny days (it's cold again).
Sylvie,
Great shots. I like the composition and the action. Different, and nice. :)
Steve
Steve, thanks. :) I waited for them to come close to where I sat on the rocks, and then I watched them move towards downtown. I could watch them all day long.
Sylvie, that top picture took my breath away, and how wonderful to be sitting there watching them on a sunny spring day.
These are lovely photos, Sylvie! What a beautiful sight!
Debi
Kathy, the spot is a place I've been going to over the last 20+ years. I used to take my son there all the time - bike-riding by the water, when he was younger.
I always sit on the same rock, and wait. The swans are there every single year.
Soon, the butterflies will all be there too, and hopefully, I can 'shoot' some. :)
Debi, thank you. I have hundreds of photos of swans. I think they are just beautiful.
Hi Sylvie - what a gorgeous picture that top one is, and how fabulous to have been able sit there and watch them. Love your pictures!
Kathy put a link on Twitter that drew me here to check your pictures out.
Ann
Ann, thank you for visiting. I love taking pictures, and once in a while, I get a great one. :)
Kathy, thank you, you "Twit" (or is it tweeter???) LOL :)
Sylvie- I am visualizing you sitting there....oh how nice that is. I just cannot get over that top picture, yet all of them would fill my soul with the beauty of the day. What a wonderful place for your son to play....:)
Kathy, my son and I still go by there once in a while, except now he sits on the rock too, and we talk and watch the swans. (I wouldn't have the energy to run after him now.) :)
It's just a place with great memories of him growing up and when I'm feeling down, it's the place I go to, to cheer myself up.
Next time I'm there, I'll see if the swans are agreeable to letting me take another photo like that for you. :)
Wow what a great bunch of photographs thank you for sharing it with us here at activerain.com
