I can wait forever, unless someone is hurting my family.  If the other person is about to strike then I cannot stand idly around and watch the outcome.  Call it knee jerk - but when it comes to those close to me, I cannot resist the impulses that arise our of sheer Adrenaline.

It has said that some of our clients were glad that we were on their side during the real estate transaction.  They were thankful we were their representatives and not on the other side of the table.

We have heard this many more times than I can remember.  But I think I know what they are talking about.  Honesty and Integrity play a HUGE role in Real Estate - IN fact there should be nothing standing in your agents way with regard to being ethical.  But they should also put up a fight to represent your rights with regard to your real estate dealing.

If contingencies need to be removed - it should be done.  If the other agent is delaying the process - then it is up to your agent to "GET SOME".  To make it happen and if need be - get someone on the phone.  Broker, attorney, real estate partner, anyone. 

We had an incident at one of the local pools where I had a relative teaching my kids how to swim.  The lifeguard called security and said that was not allowed.  They supposed that I was paying for the lessons at a Home Owner controlled pool.  When we arrived the security guards had kicked out my mother in law, children and nephew.  Upon our arrival there were a lot of upset people.

The security officer told me that this is the way it is and nothing is going to be done further.  I explained that he had done enough.  But I expect an apology for the pulling of the firearm against my mother in law in front of my kids.  "I know what you are thinking - my mother in law was refusing  to leave and is over 70 years old.  I think the displaying of the security guards weapon was totally unnecessary.  But happened it did.

I wanted to speak with the security guards supervisor.  He again told me that he was it.  I said, who do you call when the crap hits the fan.  Who would you have called if you would have shot my mother in law???  Who do you wake up in the middle of the night when there is a problem that you cannot handle.

About 20 minutes later, a man in a suit showed up and my mother in law received the apology that was warranted.

Shark - Maybe that is what you need.  I think I would rather hire a "shark" than a "sheep".
