Today I was so impressed with V-flyer.  Not because they have a great real estate listing product, not because they have a cool customizable widget, not even because my listings are automatically populated into tons of real estate sites, but because I received a personal call from one of the founders, Oliver Muoto.

He called me to personally thank me for using his product, to tell me he had seen the widget being used here in Active Rain, to offer his help if I ever needed it, and to tell me they would love feedback.

THAT's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

So here's a cool widget that took me about 10 seconds to personalize.

I love this product and now like it even more after hearing from one of the founders himself - thanks Oliver!

Pretty cool of them to contact you!!!  I like what you've done; I didn't realize they were so versatile; I'd only ever created a static flyer there, but I'll have to go back and dig deeper.  Thanks for sharing!

Steve - it's a great tool, very affordable and you can even include these widgets in static webpages - take a look at www.YourPropertyPros.com

Maureen - look in the "widgets" tab after you input your properties and you'll have a great choice.

Kathy- I totally agree.....there are some great things out there.

Ines - great promotion of this product.  I had noticed others using it but really looked at when I saw  my buddy Jay McGilliciddy using it recently.   Just signed up for it last night to check it out more.

Ines, I've been meaning to spend more time checking out vFLyers.  Linda Davis loves them.  I had noticed that both you and Rich had done listing posts with them and figured I need to make the time to look into them again.  I ask this question at the risk of having everyone know I am not as tech savvy as Nick M.: What exactly is a widget? =)

Lisa - I like the word too....it's so non-geek and geeky at the same time.

Cyndee - please call me if you have any questions, but it's supper easy to use.

Ann - what I like is that you can used them anywhere...in blogsites or static pages....not bad at all!

Susie - I totally agree....it means the company will go far for sure.

Maggie - LOL - Here's the technical definition of a widget - it's the little thingies that you can put on the right column of Active Rain - you've seen the polls, or Jeff Turner's illustrated graphic, or the MyBloglog one with all the people that have visited.  I even have a chat with me feature from meebo at www.Miamism.com

Colleen - that's awesome!!  and I agree...very impressive.

Wayne and Lynda - it's always great to hear about useful tools out there - I've learned so much here in Active Rain

Lori - I totally agree - those flyers look so much better - have you seen the listing entries here in AR?...they look sharp as well.

This was interesting to read.  I've been quite impressed by the results of those who are using V-Flyers, but like Maggie felt a little intimidated with regard to technical know how.  It's very good to hear that the company is so customer service oriented.

Jeremiah - I know that there are other great products out there, I like to focus on the ones with great customer service.

Missy - I have not been using them long - but have to agree with you.

Mike C - the tools out there are pretty amazing - how can we find them all?

Leigh - thank you!!  that means a lot to me coming from you - I would really like to think that!

Lola - I have not really needed their technical support but I clicked on "widgets" and copied the code to my static site.....and wow!  Pretty easy and pretty amazing.....now if they would allow for more customization of that widget, it would be great.

Mott - Oliver is doing a great job of contacting people here.

Vickie - they do have a free version and then have the option to upgrade - that's how I tried them out.

David - that's a good question for them - I would shoot them an e-mail

John - I'm glad you mentioned Jeff Turner, because when I think "customer service", he's the first one that comes to mind - his product in Real Estate Shows is superior to anything else I've seen and they are always working to improve it.

So Jeff....if you are reading this....YOU ROCK!

George - thanks....as long as people read, I'll keep writing.

Christina - now that you ask - I recommend Real Estate Shows- they even have a free trial and special for Active Rainers.

Oh!!  and I hear that Real Estate Shows is going to come up with a flyer feature that's going to blow our minds away .....sorry Jeff.....I hope that doesn't mean pressure!

If you go back to Jeff Turner's posts, you'll find a ton of great tools like Jott, Wufoo, polldaddy......That's why some call him "gadget man", "tool boy" or "tool boy turner"

Nicky Mississippi - did you have any doubts?  : )  As for promoting other listings, I think it's a good idea to ask the listing agent's permission.....but that's me.

George - I'm with you.

Alecia - they do have a couple of different formats for you to choose from.

Ines - I was just on Missy Caulk's blog and was admiring her V-flyers and thinking of asking her about them.  Then I come over here and it's the topic of your post today.  Amazing!

Is there a company that will send out electronic flyers to agents in my area?  I spent the afternoon sending out e-mails about a price reduction on one of my listings to various agents.  My market area is not one that people tend to put into their MLS searches, so I have to do some outreach work.

Beth - here's the cool thing, I added 3 new listings today and didn't have to go back and change all the codes...the listings appear automatically everywhere I have to little widgets, is that cool or what?

Lea - what a great idea!  I may have to try that.

Diane - I think everyone went to check it out at the same time, because their system was really slow tonight.

Judi - see?  we were all there at the same time.

Gail - there are tons of companies that has those agent lists - what I do is pay attention to those flyers I receive that I like, and then I research the company.

Ardell - you can change the colors by the way.

Sharon - I wonder if Real Estate Shows will also do a widget?

Ines - Thanks, I'll pay more attention to my inbox instead of hitting delete.  I had gotten a promotional e-mail today from a company called iAnnexFlyer, but when I tried to create a flyer using their template it disappeared when I hit "Save".  The customer service rep then told that I couldn't load pictures with a long file name, etc., but there was no warning and no instructions about this.  All my info was lost.  Very annoying.
