That drive in looks like just the type of place I would love to stop in and check out.

I LOVE nostalgic places like this Zane !!

Thank goodness they decided to preserve the charm of this great place and not to knock it down for a Starbucks or something !

Looks like they have grown in popularity also Zane, the new photo looks like standing room only. I love these type of places that are part of history and still open. I worked as a soda jerk at a local drug store when I was in high school. Broke my heart when they closed a few years ago.

We have a 50's diner here but nothing like yours. Looks like it would be a lot of fun on a nice warm spring night.

I love those old burger places, Zane. They are so much fun!

Zane--Dave & I actually had root beer floats at the White Turkey Inn a few summers ago. I think there was a craft show in the park across the street, too. I purchased a few decorations for my flower garden. Thanks for photo. Guess we will have to stop this summer on our next trip to Cleveland.

Zane - That's a very special pair of photos. Here in California, we have Mel's Diners, which very much keep the flavor of their original 1950s theme. There's nothing like the color turquoise, poodle skirts, starched petticoats, saddle shoes, and roller skates to catapault you back 50 or 60 years in a hurry:-)

Zane - I'll have a root beer and bacon cheeseburger to go. Do they deliver to Florida? We used to have the original Fat Boy's BBQ right down the street until they closed it and put in a slot machine arcade. Time marches on.
