Favorite Marinades: My First Mindless Blog

Okay, so I was up early this morning, reading an exchange of comments between Mark Flanders of Olympic Northwest Mortgage and Justin Smith of the Christian Real Estate Network (which was a HUGE mistake because I have trouble just barely being coherent in the mornings!) But these two guys are just WAY over my head. They’ve both forgotten more than I’ll ever remember.

Anyway, beings that my brain has now been effectively fried for the rest of the day, I thought I would post something mindless and shallow.

As a devout Costco shopper (men just love all those free samples!), I came across a really, amazing marinade/salad dressing named, “Johnny’s Jamaica-Me-Crazy.”

Trust me, this one is not for the faint-of-heart. It’s got a kick that will curl your toes and clear your sinuses.

Most times I end up diluting it with another more sedate dressing, like Ranch. My favorite use is to cut up fresh veggies – onions, zucchini, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, etc., and put them on skewers.  Baste with Jamaica-Me-Crazy, and grill. Serve with sticky rice and teriyaki chicken.

Man, oh man! This marinade is heaven-on-earth, and really brings out the natural flavors of the veggies along with a nice tasty attitude!

Got a favorite marinade or salad dressing to share?

Johnnys Seasoning.....mmmmmm

I think these kind of blogs are great in the community from time to time..Why? It breaks up the "business part" and gives a flare...Beside, who knows....Maybe an agent wanted to find a great marinade for a thank you basket and not they have it :)

The Hottest=   Dave's Insanity Sauce

If you remember the movie Dumb & Dumber, the diner scene is the best way I could relate it. I felt like I was going into Anaphylactic shock. I realized then that I was a mild kind of guy.

Costco also has another saucse - "Red Hot"Barbecue Sauce. Make sure you have planty of beer to wash it down. If you don't like the way it tastes, you don't care after the 4th beer!!!!!!

I would like to let all of you shoppers know that Cosco does not carry our beloved Jamaica Crazy sauce anymore. I loved to use it on Meatballs. I went to Cosco to find it and they have discontinued it...Why would they do such a thing? Anybody know where to find it now?
