The trials I've faced and the tribulations I've crossed to get to the point and time of NOW. Climbing the stairs, step by step and as each period in my life approached the steps became harder to climb.  Ups and downs and all arounds.

At long last....clarification. The meaning of defining success for my 'self'.  It is an achievement to become comfortable in this vast world and in this mystery called life. Each person has their own meaning of success and we conquer the steps by going through each situation and circumstance and turn them into learning lessons.

We fall and get back up and still climb each step...searching for the meaning of success.

I am at the exact point and time I am supposed to be.

Success in the Real Estate industry means that I've climbed and achieved the ultimate goal of seeing beyond the top of that stairway. It's way beyond the paycheck. It's going above and beyond for my clients. It's helping new agents and being there for support of my office. It's loving what I do and prioritizing my life, my time and wants vs. needs. It's learning more...the growth does not stop.

There's the stairway.

Climb it and see what endless possibilities are out there...in this game called life.

I would climb those stairs anyday...to learn more and grow as you have.  You deserve all the good things, and hey everyone can have them too if they're willing to work and sacrifice for them.

Encouraging words for trying times.  The staircase is never ending- as we continue to learn and grow each day-

Sally, Sometimes those stairs are steep...and still we climb!  I love both the post and the picture---and you're right, we are exactly where we're supposed to be.

Sally-a wonderful analogy.  It is all about one step at a time and if we are fortunate to make it to the top then we do need to share our experience with those coming up behind us.

We fall and get back up and still climb each step...searching for the meaning of success.

Such beautiful words to live by! Thank you!

This is a great post.  Sometimes I really need a handrail, the stairs get so steep.  Other times, I can skip steps to get to a better place.  The meaning of success has nothing to do with the paycheck, although that is harder to see when the paychecks are harder to come by.  Thanks for the inspiration.

There will always be stairs to climb in this life. How else would you know the goal you reached was worth achieving.

Sally...

This was a nice inspirational post on a dreary morning! I love photos of stairs too ... I have one remarkably like yours that was taken thousands of miles away!

That stairway is very inviting.  I think about this when I run.....each step is one more towards my goals.

Good Morning, Endless possibilities for sure. I have wondered something. When we talk of possibilities which are of course seemingly endless, I wondered why when staircases are used symbolically representing that climb upward, why we don't also focus on the down staircase, which requires less effort but perhaps the learned skill of balance. Isn't perspective when joined with positive attitude equally marvelous. I am after all a possibilities thinker, :)

I am so glad I read your post early this morning! We all have different meanings of success and our goals are all different but we all have to climb those stairs to get to where we want to be!  Thank you, I live the picture and your post! Have a great week.

The staircase is only as short as we makes it, is that a better clarification Sally? Thanks for the motivation.

Sally the definition of success can be different at different points in our life.  We may never get to the top of of staircase, but we will never know if we can achieve success unless we first attempt to climb the stairway to it.

Sally Jo, good for you. We all have to make some significant decisions in real estate right now, whether it's customer service, who to focus on, what to get ourselves more educated about- and, we'll have toned legs by the time we reach the top stair if we just keep moving.

Thanks Russell...and you too!

Caren: What else is there if not for striving...falling....picking back up?

Susan: We all do what we gotta do to survive....but continuuing to go above and beyond is the icing on that cake after the paycheck....KNOWING that we did our best and thought in the best interests of our clients....then...we sleep. :)

JL: Yup...that's about it....moving on moving on learning growing ...moving on. :)

Richard: I have one going down those stairs too....wasn't appropriate lol.

Michele: It is.

Thanks Sharon...smiling back :)

David: It's as long or short as we want to make it....think short term...long term...we all have them :)

George: Going back up ...and then through downs...why wonder how this sounds? The fear of love, fear of paying..why wonder what I'm saying...  (part of a poem I did oh so long ago :) Why build a mental fort.... There are endless possibiiities.

Laurie: No kidding...now...to get some toned legs lol!
