The sales in Cardiff have slowed in the last couple of months, especially for detached homes, and median prices have not changed for either detached or attached properties. The inventory of homes for sale in Cardiff has remained flat for attached but increased for detached. At the same time, however, the prices for detached Cardiff homes has increased substantially as compared to 1 year ago, but has dropped off significantly for attached homes. The inventory of attached Cardiff homes is one of the lowest in North County at the moment, only about 3.5 months. Cardiff, however, remains a popular destination for home buyers who can afford the waterview homes and who enjoy the particular seaside lifestyle offered by this quaint, surfing community.
