Market Statistics for APRIL 2007 - Cardiff, CA

Here are the summary market statistics for Cardiff (a.k.a. Cardiff-by-the-Sea) for April 2007 [link is to a community profile n Cardiff with photos and music]

The sales in Cardiff have slowed in the last couple of months, especially for detached homes, and median prices have not changed for either detached or attached properties. The inventory of homes for sale in Cardiff has remained flat for attached but increased for detached.

At the same time, however, the prices for detached Cardiff homes has increased substantially as compared to 1 year ago, but has dropped off significantly for attached homes. The inventory of attached Cardiff homes is one of the lowest in North County at the moment, only about 3.5 months.

Cardiff, however, remains a popular destination for home buyers who can afford the waterview homes and who enjoy the particular seaside lifestyle offered by this quaint, surfing community.

Jeff,

Wow, what a great job on this marketing report. Cardiff is in No. S.D. county? Do you know the approximate population? This area still intrigues me.

Thanks, Lynda. Yes, it is in North County (about 20 miles north of SD). Population is around 12,000. Glad you stopped by! It really is a quaint town with some terrific views.
