Through various holidays and celebrations we are able to share and understand what makes our diversity one of our biggest assets.
Today is May 5th or commonly known as Cinco de Mayo.
Millions will be celebrating in some form and while over the years the day has been misinterpreted, nevertheless, it presents another day to bring it into historical context so it is better understood. Contrary to what some may believe, it is not Mexican Independence Day.
