If you are looking to buy, either a resale or new construction, there are plenty of homes on the market right now. This is not necessarily a buyers market because the price levels remain relatively high. With residential homes in 2006 seeing a Y-T-D average price of $473,237 and new construction 2006 seeing an Y-T-D average price of $497,852. In 2007, the market may shift to become more of a buyers market due to economical forces but since our area is still experiencing decent market time, homes continue to sell, the shift may only be minor.
