The extended Pizza run to Fargo from Waukesha County

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker

Last Friday after a wonderful day in the Waukesha County real estate market and Waukesha County Lake homes I asked my son Spencer what he wanted to do since it was 3:30 on a Friday and we were looking for an adventure. We decided to take an extended trip and go get a pizza in Fargo North Dakota since the Amtrak trains were so inexpensive. The next day we had the luxury of getting a pizza, visiting the wonderfully restored Fargo theater, and watching "Dr. Strangelove." My son thought the movie was different, liked the theater, and certainly loved the pizza. Sometimes taking an extended trip and being able to talk with your 14 year old while looking at beautiful countryside can do wonders for both.

Wishing you a productive day, and see you at closing!

hi Tom,

You're a wonderful Dad and I'm sure these times you are spending with Spencer will always be cherished by him. As my Mom always says, 'life is short, so there if there is something you want to do, do it!'....I believe you set the finest example of that of anyone.

I hope so; I cheerish them more than he may ever know. He is a good, kind young man and looks out for his dad. You are so right; life is short. Life is very short.

How great that you were so spontaneous and allowed yourself the freedom to have fun with your son.  I know there is nothing I cherish more than my time with my 2 grown children and I'm sure you feel the same way about your son.  He is one lucky young man!

It's funny, I used to measure my life with more material things; now it is a smile I get from a wonderful young man named Spencer (and a big floppy eared dog named Lars). Thank you
