2 Comments on How to turn Linkedin connections into valuable Long-term business relationships: 3 rules and 6 not so easy steps

Well, Brian: I am one of those who doesn't have any 'LIKE MINDED" friends.. I DO, however, have mutliple businesses:  As a Residential Realtor, a Computer Repair consultant, a Foreign language tutor, a chocolate importer, a Resume writer and a photographer, I own and operate all of these out of my home in Springfield, VA.

What a shame that you;re in FL and I am here in VA!! It sounds like you are just the kind of person that I could use on my 'team.'  (Yep: I've tried BNI before: the headache of having to get up at 5:30 am to get to each and every one of those meetings stopped me in my tracks before I had a chance to really benefit from the network. So, I abandoned the whole thing after 6 mos..)

I would certainly be interested in corresponding with you via e mail: perhaps you can suggest some better ways for me to establish those elusive like-minded friends you were discussing???  One of my difficulties may be that there simply are not enough hours in my day to HAVE friends, like-minded or NOT!

I wd certainly appreciate hearing your perspective.... Not sure where exactly Brandon is: I have two condos I purchased in Ft Myers, FL ,. though...

all the best
