Fort Worth First Home... 1361 Sq Ft in the Mid-120's...

Because I try and keep current with all of the new home builders... every once in awhile I come across a really great home... at a really great price... that surprises even ME !

Take a peek at one of my favorites below. Pictured is part of the family room... looking into the kitchen/breakfast bar on the rear left... and just a smidge of the three-walls-of-windows breakfast area/morning room on the rear right.

Our first home was 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 820 sq. feet for $17k. I could have really used that $8k...

Paul: Ahhh yes... those were the days. Seventeen thousand dollars, huh ? Did that home have indoor plumbing ? :) And... Paul... if you had held on to that home... how much would it be worth today ?

That's a really nice looking home Karen. . .And priced below $100.00 a square foot. What's not to like!

Myrl: This is a great example of the difference in market areas. To have a home at more than $100.00 a square foot would be rare. Now, I know in some of the downtown areas in Fort Worth and Dallas... some of the high rise condos are way above that... as are many of the "affluent" areas... but for the normal folks... that just is not a typical occurence. Debe: These interior shots look so good... I thought I would use them rather than the typical outside-front photo. Although this home really DOES give buyers a lot of space for the money... that is not all that unusual here in Fort Worth. I hope things in Charlotte are going well for you.
