Because I try and keep current with all of the new home builders... every once in awhile I come across a really great home... at a really great price... that surprises even ME !

Take a peek at one of my favorites below.  Pictured is part of the family room... looking into the kitchen/breakfast bar on the rear left... and just a smidge of the three-walls-of-windows breakfast area/morning room on the rear right.

Below is a better close-up of the breakfast room/morning room.  What a great place to have either your weekday morning coffee as you try and wake up for work... or enjoy a relaxing weekend breakfast/brunch when you finally have time to "take your time."

This home is probably going to be a first home for most folks.  Either that... or a nice downsize home once you get to where you don't want to spend all of your time taking care of a large home with a large yard.

This charming home is approximately 1361 sq ft in size... and has three bedrooms... (a great master), two full baths, a great gourmet kitchen, a fully-covered rear patio, and a two-car attached garage.

If you've been renting... and want to take advantage of Uncle Sam and Aunt Samantha's $8,000 Tax Credit... you need to start getting pretty serious... before time runs out.  Call Karen Anne Stone at New Home Hunters DFW at (817) 929-3400... or visit her website at www.NewHomeHuntersDFW.com .  Let Karen Anne surprise you with just how easy having a home like this for your very own can be.

Liz:  It really IS a great home.  I don't know how they packed so much niceness into such a small home.  Thanks for commenting...

Dan & Amy:  First off... do you both take turns writing on Active Rain... or it this primarily one of you ?  I always feel "closer" to the person making the comment if I know which one of you it is.  Just a quirky'ism of mine.  :)

Now... yes... is a great home for the price.  Actually... I would love to be able to pick this one up and move it up near you folks... and plop it down right in the middle of Mentor... where I am from.  That would be too cool for words.  Thank you for your kind words... have a great weekend.

Our first home was 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 820 sq. feet for $17k. I could have really used that $8k...

Paul:  Ahhh yes... those were the days.  Seventeen thousand dollars, huh ?  Did that home have indoor plumbing ?  :)  And... Paul... if you had held on to that home... how much would it be worth today ?

William:  You are very welcome.  It would be an absolutely great home for those downsizing and moving south.  With the size of this home, and the great insulation factors, heating and A/C Seer ratings, low-E windows and all... it would be a money-saver, too.  Thanks for your kind comments.  Take care...

So... when are you moving ?

That's a really nice looking home Karen. . .And priced below $100.00 a square foot. What's not to like!

Myrl:  This is a great example of the difference in market areas.  To have a home at more than $100.00 a square foot would be rare.  Now, I know in some of the downtown areas in Fort Worth and Dallas... some of the high rise condos are way above that... as are many of the "affluent" areas... but for the normal folks... that just is not a typical occurence.  Thanks for your kind words... take care...

Wow!!! I can't believe that price - and the feeling of "space" that you get. It seems so much larger than it really is!!!  I LOVE it...

Debe:  These interior shots look so good... I thought I would use them rather than the typical outside-front photo.  Although this home really DOES give buyers a lot of space for the money... that is not all that unusual here in Fort Worth.  I hope things in Charlotte are going well for you.  Take care... thanks for your kind words.

Ruthmarie:  The feeling of "spaciousness" inside it really amazing.  At 1361 square feet... it feels hundreds of square feet larger.  No bumping elbows here... !  Thanks for commenting... take care...
