500 posts - Is it worth the effort?

Looking back, it doesn't seem like it was very hard. Was it worth the time and effort?  YES?

A lot has changed in the last 2 years, but the reason I decided to blog has not. I believe that blogging is the best way to reach a lot people, and Active Rain is the best platform to use if you a real estate professional.

Has it increased my business? Yes it has, but not so much that I have abandoned traditional methods of capturing leads.

Would I do it again? Yes,

What do I tell people who are considering taking up blogging for the first time? Find a mentor, or a group of mentors, and let them help you get the most from your blogging time.

In our Technology Workshop that we have every Thursday morning at the Franklin Keller Williams office, we take a few minutes to improve each others past blogs for SEO and lead capture purposes. I think it's probably the most productive thing I do all week.
