Pearland Summer Concert in the Park Friday May 8th The Austin Band (Country Music)
Location: Southdown Park (2150 Countryplace Pkwy)
Fee: FREE
Come out and relax to the tunes of a live band every Friday during the months of May and June. The splash pad and playground will be available for the kids.Food vendors will be onsite selling delicious treats
‘TRIAL' RECYCLING SITE ON WEST END
Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) has entered into a 90-day ‘pilot program' for an additional recycling site at 2805 Business Center Dr. (yellow bins located behind HEB). Now, people located on the west end of town can recycle their papers, milk jugs, water bottles, vegetable cans and all other curbside recycling materials at this location. If, after 90 days, Pearlanders generate enough recyclables to warrant a once a week pick-up, the program will continue. Funds generated from the sale of the recyclables will go to Keep Pearland Beautiful. For questions, call 281-652-1659 or email cowles@keeppearlandbeautiful.org
