Active Listings, as of May 7, 2009 and Sold Data from April 1, 2009 to April 30, 2009.  Months supply is the number of active listings divided by the number of sold listings for the month.  Months supply over 6 months market is more of a buyers market.  Months supply under 6 months is more of a sellers market.

Douglas County had 566 attached and detached homes sold in April 2009 compared with 473 in 2008, which is up 20%.  As of May 7, 2009, there were 3,090 active homes for sale, which is a 5.47 months supply of homes.  The supply of active homes for sale is down as well.  In April 2008, Douglas County had 3,883 active listings, which is down over 20% from last year
