With regard to this question, I realize that there are many predators out there in the world.  The chances that we run into someone that is really "hell-bent" on doing harm might have the odds against it.  But what if...

To reduce these chances, we have developed a Philosophy with regard to our Clients.  I think, houses are a pretty big investment, therefore it should take more time to make the decision than it takes to purchase a pair of shoes.

When we get called from signs, I have questions I ask, and I never - ever meet someonethat calls at a property to show unless it is my current client.  When they call and I explain these things and ask them to come into my office to meet - So I can explain how we work, ask them what they are looking for, and establish a two way rep-or - and sometimes they REFUSE, stating that we just want to purchase this house we are sitting in front of and have a suit case of money, I say sorry 'I am not the agent for you'.

But I follow it up that I not going to place you(the caller) nor me in harms way -

Don't you think that Real Estate Agents are worth the exclusivity?  (maybe that is not the word I am looking for - but I work pretty hard in this business to keep up with training and the market - with the best way to represent my client and advertise their listings. - I might not have a Masters in Business from the University of California - But I have some interesting Life Experience and work background.

Is that enough to put me on the same level as someone that has the "sheepskin on the wall?"

I don't interview the clerk at McDonalds, but I am ordering off of the dollar menu...  I am spending hundreds of thousands of Dollars on a home - I want to make sure that I hired someone worth his or her salt.

That is my spin - I am ready for approval, correction and your views..  My BEST to all of you...  Happy Mothers Day Mothers..  We could not have done it without you.
