It is a "no kill" facility that allows cats in its care to live out their lives with dignity in a caring and safe environment.

Their goal is to provide a safe haven to rescued cats and to educate the public about the growing population of abandoned and unwanted exotic animals and where they come from.

Lions, Tigers & Bears, Alpine, CaliforniaLions, Tigers & Bears currently needs volunteers to help with:

  • stuffing envelopes
  • calling donors
  • brush and care for animals
  • cleaning
  • painting

Hello Jim.

Thank you for your post on Lions, Tigers & Bears!  I did not know about this rescue group!  They have a fantastic website!  Loved viewing the photos and reading the cats stories.  Absolutely gorgeous creatures!  I wish I lived near Alpine, California - I would definitely volunteer!  Thank you for sharing and your presentation of this wonderful rescue group that helps wild & exotic cats.  Great job on your post!

Lions, Tigers & Bears is still looking for volunteers!  We have a new bear name "Meatball" and we have a lot of funsdraising efforts going to to raise money for his new habitat.
