TED is an annual invitation-only summit of the World's brightest minds. Each year TED features 50 of the world's most fascinating people. Collectively, they have won every major prize awarded for excellence, including the Nobel, Pritzker, Pulitzer, Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Tony and MacArthur "genius" grant.

TED finally opened its doors to the world by launching Ted.com. Now we can all benefit from this remarkable exchange of ideas. I've already established a membership (it's free) and I look forward to being inspired by these great minds.
