Lake Norman FlowersI hope ALL "Mom's" had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Many of my friends are mother's to a 4-legged "child".  I sent them all a card or email to wish them a Happy Mother's Day as well.

They are wonderful mommy's and love there pets like children.

Wendy, hmmmm.  Never thought of myself as Willie's mom, but he is pretty much of a child!  Maybe there should be a day for pets to celebrate the humans who feed them!

Patricia, my friends that don't have children but do have pups definitley think of themselves as moms.  They baby there pups and talk to them like children.  It's so cute.

Hello Wendy,

I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day!  Many of my friends are mom's to their fur babies too!  That is so nice of you to think of your friends with dogs & cats on Mother's Day too!

Wendy, Glad you had a nice Mother's day.  Mine was great also.  I'm Mother to two young adult children, two kitties and one dog.  I went to Colorado this last weekend to surprise my Mother for Mother's day; while my husband went to Alaska to help a buddy with a house.  We left our son (who just got out of the Army one week ago) home to kitty and doggy sit.  I must say he was very glad to see us come home.  He especially thought the kitties were VERY NEEDY.

Very smooth transition from Mother's Day to promoting a local business!  I have two friends with 4-legged babies.  You are right, they love them deeply.

Our two legged variety have all left the nest, but we still have 3 of the four legged kind.  They are her babies now, until the first grand children come (July!).   Hope your mother's day was special.
