I bought a gorgeous photograph from Vegas Bob & I LOVE IT

I am sure most of you have run into Robert Swetz, now nicknamed Vegas Bob, here on Active Rain. If you haven't, I highly recommend you check him out. He posts some of the most beautiful photographs here in the Rain.

I (not so) recently purchased a beautiful photograph from his website at Search My Pics. It is a photo he took in Myanmar. I have a grouping I am planning on putting up with distressed walls and architecture and this fits perfectly.

When this photograph arrived, both my daughter and myself were so excited. Vegas Bob had autographed it to both of us. The photo is 16 x 20 and is absolutely stunning and vibrant. We are very excited that we now own this photo. Vegas Bob has been waiting (and waiting) for this post because I am a procrastinator and have not arranged my grouping yet. This is not because I don't love my photos or because I'm not excited, this is because I am overwhelmed with projects at my house.

That is really neat. I'm almost scared to go look for fear of all the shopping I would do. His work is amazing.

Wow Chris ~ This is terrific and I could not agree more that Vegas Bob takes some incredible pictures. He and his wife have have traveled to some amazing places! I am happy you found one if his pictures that you can enjoy for a lifetime.

This is a great photo and not the kind of thing you see every day. Bon marche, Chris! (I think that means 'good shopping'.)

Ann - You probably should be scared. Rhiannon & I decided to pick one and we took at least 3 days debating each other about which one it would be. They're all so nice!

Terrie - I am happy he shares the places he visits with all of us. I love the photo, I'm glad I got it!

Shirley - Shopping is always good. : ) That's the kind of things I like, the ones you don't see every day. My decor is strange ecclectic.

Hi Steve - I'm collecting photograhs from my AR friends... I have one from Robert Swetz, two from Carol Smith, two from Elaine Manes... Guess who else is on my list!

Bob sure has some beautiful photos, that's for certain! Always eye-catching and full of color!

Thanks Gail. Today we are going to work on the 3rd bedroom, which will be Rhiannon's Lounge of all things (whatever that means at 11). You could say we're a little eccentric. However, once that is done the Lounge furniture will be out of my way and I can finally get to the family room, where I'll be adding this grouping. At least this stuff is fun to do!

Chris - I am searching for a job where I can travel, take photographs and get payed for it. I am in Snowflake Arizona with Nu Nu right now and we will be meeting Travis Walton at 1:00pm.

Snowflake is about 140 miles East of Flagstaff, 4 hour drive from Phoenix and 7 hours from Vegas.

I am so excited I can't even think!

I certainly hope you find that job, Robert, how wonderful those blogs would be.

I am very excited too! From what I have read the book is nothing like the movie... I need to get a copy of the book now, but they are $55+ online. Must be out of print so I'll have to go to the library.
