When we look up or look down, we see things that we might not normally see.  Hopefully we all take a few minutes to experience something new.  Look at the picture below...did you notice that both of these flowers have different shades of purple?  This is true with so many everyday" things" in life...we think they are alike on first glance, but on closer inspection we see they're not.  We are all unique yet the similarities are what helps us build relationships.  Take the time to enjoy the differences while appreciating the similarities :)  That's the beauty of diversity.

Hi William....I never know what I'm going to say, and that saying just seemed to fit :)  Too many people look at what's different but miss the similarities.  It is the similarities that bind us together, and contributes to both peace and understanding :)

Sally my friend...thanks :)

Judy- Thank you .......

Midori- The camera is a little Canon.  I just loved the colors and the way they looked against the blue sky.

Very pretty, Kathy! What kind of flower is that, do you know? A lovely way to remind us of diversity.

Kathy:  What a beautiful photo... but what an even better explanation to go along with it.  I like the way you think.  Enjoy the differences while appreciating the similarities.  Now... if somehow we could get the entire world to think like this... how wonderful that would be.  Thanks so much for sharing... take care...

Kathy, that is a gorgeous picture and I have to tll you that I really enjoy your title. I think we might be cut from the same cloth because I am always noticing similarities and differences in a lot of things I observe! Thank you!

Kathy,
You do have an eye for photography and your analogy is excellent.   This would be a very boring world if we all were the same.

Robert- thank you :)

Deb- No, but someone said it might be a Rose of Sharon? or some sort of Hibiscus.....

Karen- "What a wonderful world it would be" indeed :)

Andrea- Thanks....Everything was in bloom and my granddaughter and I just took off to try to capture some of the beauty we saw :)

Russell- I am not surprised that you would notice, from the things I've read it just seems like you are that kind of a guy.....:)  Now if only more people would accept differences our world would be a better place for sure, and we would be more enriched.

My friend Cynthia- Oh yes it would be a boring world if we were all the same....just think I might have to actually cook if I tried to be like you ....LOL :)  Hope all is well with you, and that you and the little one are enjoying Spring.

Kathy, even snow flakes are different from one another.  Each plant, flower, animal, fish, and humans are all unique.  Isn't Mother Nature amazing.

Kathy, it's funny that we often complain when people aren't like us. Yet the differences make our lives so much more interesting!
