This is a very tranquil picture. Reminds me of a hiking trip from last year.

Linda - such peaceful sights.  No matter the background noise in the room, these can make you think of quiet and solitude.

Good morning Gay-Gay—Yes, slowing down water is something I've wanted to do... this is first attempt. Can't wait to find a larger waterfall and try again. Thanks and great to see you!

Hi Andrea—As I mentioned to Gail, this is my first attempt to slow down water. I've seen some gorgeous shots that have made me green with envy, so I thought I'd make an attempt. Now I need to locate a larger waterfall with even faster running water.  Thanks!

Hi Katharine—Let me know if you'd like to use one as a screen saver... I'm using several on my computer. It helps bring a few moments of peace when everything is so hectic. Thank you!

Hi Carol—I was seeking quiet and solitutde when I shot these yesterday afternoon. It's good to get away for a few moments of peace, even if as you say, it's in one's office. Thank you!

Linda, you and Gail are speaking in a foreign language to everybody here, what do you mean by "slow down water", does it mean to throw bigger rocks in to it or dam up the stream to slow it down. LOL

Hi Kat—It's good to see you. Thanks for stopping by for a calming moment.

Hi Joanna—I wanted to wade right in, but I didn't have enough time. There's something magical about water... it draws me no matter where I may be. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Hi Michael—The texture of he rocks was another thing that drew my attention to this small waterfall. Water on rocks brings out the color and texture which is mezmerising... at least to me. Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Roy—You crack me up - LOL! You know very well this technique involves time lapse, but to preserve the context of your joke I won't mention it to anyone. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

It looks so soft, it's hard to imaging it has the power to carve out the Grand Canyon.

Hi Sally—We forget how powerful water can be, but Mother nature has a way of reminding us how powerful it is every time we survive a flood, lvisit at the Grand Canton or view footage on TV of a tsunami. Yet water is so calming and brings amazing tranquility to our lives. Thanks!
