Take NYS Approved Appraiser Continuing Education  before you renew your Appraiser License

Part of this regulation requires you to attend the 7 hour National USPAP Update course. USPAP is mandatory! No Exceptions! Questions?, call NY State at 518-474-4429. Due to limited seating, and advance book purchase requirements, no refunds are permitted once course is registered for. Attendance mandatory to receive credit for courses. Call to confirm dates, times and availability of each course you wish to attend. We require a minimum of 7 students to run each course. KEEP COPIES OF ALL CERTIFICATES YOU RECEIVE! All appraisers are subject to a continuing education  audit. If you do not have the required Appraiser Continuing Education, you are in violation of state guidelines.  If course is cancelled due to weather issues, we will call you at the # you provided.

NYS APPRAISER CONTINUING EDUCATION AT OUR SCHOOL

Licensed, Assistants, Certified Residential & Certified General Appraisers must complete 28 hours of approved continuing education (incl.  7 Hour USPAP Update) before you renew your  license. We offer both Traditional & On-Line Courses to meet the 28 hours required appraiser continuing education. • 5/29/09  HUD CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP FOR FHA APPRAISALS 12:30PM-5:30PM  5 hours  Includes FHA Manual.... $ 100

• ARE YOU A CERTIFIED APPRAISER LOOKING TO PERFORM FHA APPRAISALS, THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU. IT WILL EXPLAIN THE ROLE OF THE FHA AND HOW TO STAY IN COMPLIANCE.

• 5/30/09  FRAUD PRACTICES AND THE APPRAISER 8-4pm  8 hours  Includes FRAUD Manual.........................................     $ 150

• Fraud is everywhere and appraisers in NYS must be able to address fraud transactions, flips and those which may become part of a fraud scheme. A great class for appraisers who want to continue appraising into the future.

• 6/6/09   7 HOUR NATIONAL USPAP UPDATE 8-3:45pm "7 hours"    Includes 2 USPAP Manuals ($70 Value)............    $  195

• 7 Hour National USPAP Class in which all updates associated with USPAP will be discussed and analyzed in a class environment. You will receive both our certificate, and a separate certificate will be mailed by the Appraisal Foundation. This is a NYS and Appraisal Foundation approved class.

• 6/12/09  REPORT WRITING ADDENDUM (Includes 1004MC Form)  8-4pm 8 hours  Includes $ 50 Manual......................... $ 150

• Appraisers must develop and create addendums each appraisal they perform, including the 1004MC form mandated effective 4-1-09 for all residential homes including FHA Transactions. If you are interested in learning more as to how to write addendums and extract the data necessary for the 1004MC form, this class is a must for you.

• 6/25,26,27/09  Real Estate Economics  Day 1,2:8-5pm; Day3:8-12:30pm "22.5 hours"  Includes $ 60 Manual....................     $ 295

• A 2.5 day program to discuss Real Estate Economics in their entirety. Micro, Macro and Consumer Economics. A great class for the informed appraiser.

• Appraiser perform conventional loans which are either FNMA or FHLMC for funded transactions. This class will explain regulations which appraisers must address when performing conventional appraisal assignments in NYS
