You made my day Gary!!  I have been a single mom and a mortgage loan originator for 13 years and just recently got my real estate license as well.  It's my son's 14th birthday today have been reflecting back all morning.  Sometimes I wonder how I've managed all these years.  I'm still waiting to hear him say I am a supermom, but not sure I'll hear it in these teenage years!  :))  He is still and always will be the apple of my eye, even with his sassy attitude! :)

If there were more folks like you this world would be a better place!  Thanks again, Gary!!  Have a super day!

Gary - You sure no how to make a girl "giggle and blush" !. I think sometimes Super Mom Realtors just go into Auto-Pilot mode and don't even realize it. It takes a kind and wise soul such as yourself to bring us back to the real world.

I am a single mom of an 8 yr old and a realtor and although it is difficult at times, I am grateful for the flexibility this career path has afforded me in order to spend precious time with my little girl.

Of the top 10 real estate agents I admire...(not necessarily because of volume)...at least 8 of them have children still in their homes. I am always impressed when they can do a quality job for their clients and still be at the soccer game or school function. I try to emulate these agents  whenever I can because they are indeed super...whether they are Mom's or Dad's.   Mike

Gary, very thoughtful and admirable of you to write such a warm post for us super mom realtors and a round of applause to those single dad agents too. One of the initial reasons I chose real estate was that it could be flexible around the kids but once I got into the business I realized that that was easier said than done.  I too have bribed them to be quiet while I had to take a call or dragged them (especially my 4 year old) to broker's opens but we do what we have to do.  Well written and thank you.

Gary!  How nice to read your post.  I do walk a tightrope each and every day balancing all I have going.  But quite honestly I wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't so busy.  I am just grateful for my health to be able to do it all!

Thanks, Gary. It is definitely a challenge. I am always feeling guilty when I come home and work on real estate when I should be hanging out with my kids and when I'm hanging out with my kids I am feeling guilty that I'm not working on real estate!

Well i'm another one of those Mom Realtors..........for 19 of my 20 years in real estate!  This career has given me the ability to be there when my kids were sick, to drive them to school, be their at their school plays...........its been a blessing!

Can I be considered a super "dog" mom! Thats hard work too!!! Balancing life with my little Pomeranian and working Real Estate! LOL!
