On May 14, 1607 Captains John Smith and Christopher Newport and their three boats landed at Jamestown, Virginia and established the first permanent English settlement in the New World.  The voyage started in December 1606.  The "Susan Constant", the "Godspeed" and the "Discovery" carried a total of 105 passengers.  Replicas of the ships, the fort, and the buildings erected can be visited there.
