A number of people feel that, regardless of the impression they are their company makes, all that counts is that they know what they are doing. In theory that is an ideal situation. It is also not much like the real world where the big brands tend to crush much of the local competition. People have confidence in those who appear to be successful. So if a realtor, inspector, etc has poor marketing materials, right down to the vehicle and the dress, it will hurt the business. Image is, like it or not, often more important than substance. That is too bad but true in many instances.

Indeed...

Combine a good marketing company that can create a well polished brand image and a little bit of confidence, and viola, you're well on your way to being successful!

We ended up delaying our opening (2007) due to that pesky image thing- and have no regrets about it. We love the logo, and the amount charged to get us what we wanted (www.optionsrealty.com) was worth every nickel and argument. Now, we'll see how it goes! Use the services of a good marketing and consulting firm- the personal payback is HUGE.
