So the very next day he can dig for the chipmunks that taunt him! Ten minutes in the yard, an hour in the tub, and he's still orange.

If your dog needs grooming, I highly recommend the excellent services of Camp Bow Wow in Forest, VA. These folks love animals and they also offer boarding, short and long term at reasonable rates. Duncan loves to visit and he always comes home with a new bandana and a little treat. Located on Route 221 (halfway to Bedford). For more information, contact:

Too cute! My cat, Carley is a great chipmonk hunter. She loves to bring them live into the house so we can BOTH play and chase them! Fun!

LOL! Joan, I would freak out if Duncan brought a 'playmate' in for me! (Now that I think of it, we did have a chipmunk in the dining room a few months ago......)

Gary, Everytime I let him out I warn him not to dig, silly dog. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an excellent weekend as well.

Too funny. Yes I know about those taunting chipmunks & squirrels. I guess you have alot of clay in your area? Nice to know you've got a great 'spa' to take your dog too.  Great PR for them too.

This is too funny. Isn't Duncan usually white??? At least he helps you to keep the chipmunks out of the garden!

Hi Debbie!

Sometimes I wish I could go play in the mud and get away with it. Lucky pup if you ask me, he gets to roll around in the mud, toy with the chipmunks, and then gets a nice hot bath. How would it be?

Hi Debbie - That photo says it all!  He's awfully cute, and that must be his saving grace if he's going to be that mischievous.

Debbie, my dog rolls in dead grass which collects on her face an body.  Then she comes to the door looking like a porcupine.  Everyday same routine.  I feel your pain :-)

Debbie don't you just love their penchant for enjoying mother earth. That's why mine are wash and wear Boston Terriers. I just wash them down in the laundry tub and rub them dry with a towel.

our neighbors have a Bichon Frise who ends up looking like a chocolate dipped doggie when he goes out and lays in the mud. Guess if he lived in your state he'd look like an orange dipped doggie.
