I make it a priority to get away for a vacation at least once a year. Hard work needs to be balanced with play time and relax time. I'm currently on my vacation in Italy and can't describe how nice it is to not have to answer the phone, or a constant stream of emails. I haven't seen a transaction folder in close to two weeks and instead spend my time studying restaurant menus in a quest to discover the perfect pasta al dente. Finding the time to get away is often difficult, because when we're busy we don't want to miss out on transactions, and when things are slow there is so much to catch up on. I'm here to tell you, transaction and business can wait. The sunrise over the mountain won't wait for nobody and the steaming hot bowl of Gnocci won't wait either.
