Posting on craigslist

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams
Posting on craigslist is a great idea for advertising, marketing, and driving traffic to my website.  I have had great success with craigslist.  Everytime I post all my listing I get a ton of traffic to my site.  Free traffic, thats targeted to real estate.  I just wrote a deal today from a lead that I received through craigslist.  She called me, she saw my virtual tour and wanted to get together to see my home I had listed. She came up today, I spent a few hours with her and bam she found a home she liked, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. I recommend to all agents to post on craigslits, it makes your sellers happy, gets you leads, and could sell your property

Hmmm, I had not thought of posting listings on Craiglist as driving leads to your website before.  I have not I used Craigslist before, but here is another good reason to add that extra layer of exposure for both my Sellers and me!

Thanks!

We are in Wenatchee and have started posting on Craigslist just this week.  Have received one inquiry and do expect more.  It amazes me how much traffic this funky sit gets.

Several AR members have had success with Craigs list for listing information.  However, I find that it is not so successful when trying to attract buyer prospects.  Any idea?

I have not yet had any REAL buyers from Craigslist, but it does drive traffic way up when I post there.

Backpage.com is another similar site and it's also free.  Good job on the deal!

I'ts no secret, craigslist is generating more traffic and leads for agents then any other real estate portal.

If there's buyers looking in your demographic, then they are looking on craigslist.  If it's not producing real leads, you have to use the real estate portals as a listing tool.( we give you the ability to use them as listing tools with reports)

Virtual tours have sort of lost their novelty, but in a sellers market, they were used to acquire listings. I don't know how many homes were really sold because of their stitched photos.

I can personally recommend craigslist. I try to post twice a week and get great traffic to our website with high conversion rates (tracked through Google analytics). I did a post on this recently at my blog - Doyouconvert.com

It also has a quick list of other places to list your homes for free. It takes a little more time but will get you great results - especially since you don't have to pay...

I agree I use Craigslist as well for posting listings and I find it very user friendly.
