Agent and Client

When you do something new you want to learn from those who have experience.

When you are looking at new construction in the Charlottesville Area do you need an Agent?

The short answer is YES

Let's ask ourselves a few questions:

How many times have you had a home built?

How many builders do you know?

Will you have the builder/county inspector tell you that your home is built to code?

Does a certificate of occupancy mean the home is done?

As with anything new you need the guidance of an expert. Use a REALTOR to get you though the many additional stages of building a home. But do be sure that your Agent has experience with new construction.

And I do not mean they took a course or have a certificate. I mean first hand experience.

The relationship between an Agent and a Client is so much more valuable that you might think.

Five of my current contracts are new construction. This means dealing directly with builders in the Charlottesville market. I can tell you that the process, although sometimes challenging, is worth it!

Any questions?

Charles, I haven't done any sales in new construction since moving to Lewisburg. Good information for a reference.

Charles, I do appreciate new construction, done right. In ten years I've worked with some of the best and sadly, the worst. Buyers need to be guided through some of the mine fields that can be found...

How many times I have heard people call an agent for help after they are already knee deep in issues with the purchase of a home - which is too late!
