If you leave a comment, Jim will visit your blog and leave a comment. The San Diego Boat Show, a San Diego Convention Center that plays to about 15,000 people during the first week of the new year, has announced that it is changing dates, locations, and operators

The National Marine Manufacturers Association recently announced that it could not continue the show due to financial difficulties in the industry.

The next San Diego Boat Show will be held January 28-31, 2010, at the Sunroad Marina on Harbor Island. Sunroad Marina will also be the show's owner and operator.

A factor in changing the dates of the show was professional football playoff games. The new dates will conflict with the "little-watched Pro Bowl" (their words, not mine!).

Meanwhile, the San Diego Yacht and Boat Show will take place as scheduled from July 23-26, 2009, hosted by Harbor Island's Sheraton Marina and the Cancer Survivors Park.
